Wine, robots and heavy equipment. If variety is the spice of life, then Central Lakes College (CLC) is really mixing it up! Offering nearly 100 certificate, diploma or degree options in 10 different career areas, CLC has a path for YOU!

With a pulse on Greater Minnesota’s economy, CLC is offering a wide variety of programs designed specifically to meet the needs of growing industries, such as:

  • Agriculture and a focus on grape growing, wine making and wine business with their Enology and Viticulture programs. The number of wineries in Minnesota nearly doubled over a five year span, so these unique offerings (complete with internships) are helping businesses in the region thrive. Courses are available online.
  • Manufacturing and the need for skilled workers to run the region’s high-tech plants. CLC is offering a wide array of programming for robotics, including several specialized certificates. Placement rates after graduation from these programs is nearly 100 percent.

  • Transportation and ensuring that continued expansion of industry is possible with the use of heavy equipment. Maintenance and repair of increasingly complex machinery are the focus of CLC’s transportation offerings.

In addition to being on-trend with industry, CLC is committed to serving students in new and exciting ways. Starting fall 2016, Live Online will offer students a chance to participate in courses in-person, live on the web or by watching a recorded class in select subjects.

CLC also offers an on-campus daycare center, a vibrant Veterans Resource Center and a host of other supportive services for students. Whatever your goal or path, Central Lakes College is committed to helping you find success.
