Find your inspiration

Music moves me – it always has. Hearing a tune can make me smile, cry or just want to dance. Apparently this is a genetic trait, because my (almost) two-year old seems to have the same reaction to music. She just can’t help herself. A jingle on TV, a song on the radio, even my husband whistling in the kitchen; if she hears music, she starts dancing in the middle of whatever she might be doing.

That single act of letting it all go, of feeling free to move with what moves her is…inspiring.Inspiration is everywhere and often in unexpected laces. You just have to keep your eyes open.

As we get closer to the New Year and start thinking about resolutions, take some time to reflect on what inspires you. When you find it, act on it.

If acting on it requires a career move or some additional education, consider Minnesota State Colleges and Universities. Feel free to explore your passions with an online program or course. We have experienced, passionate faculty who may continue to inspire you as you pursue your goals.
