If you don’t want the flu, here’s what to do…
Wash your hands
This is the single most important thing you can do to prevent infection with the flu. Wash your hands often throughout the day. Especially after using the restroom, before eating and after touching public surfaces such as an ATM or door handles. Avoid shaking hands with others.
Get your sleep
Adequate rest boosts your immune system to help fight off the nasty bugs.
Sugar suppresses your immune system and feeds those vile viruses.
Drink your water
Water keeps your lymph system in tip top shape to battle the beasties.
Get your nutrition
Boost your resistance with plenty of fruits and vegetables. Take your vitamins.
Get your exercise
Sweating, breathing and stretching will help remove toxins from your body to keep you happy and healthy.
If you do get sick
Stay at home so as not to infect others and stay positive! Rest, drink plenty of hydrating fluids and think about all the fun things you’ll be doing this summer…you’ll be right as rain in no time!
