“I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once.”
– Jennifer Yane
Stress is a common part of life. Whether this time in your life is challenging or exciting, stress may play a part in your days. If you don’t acknowledge the stress in your life and find ways to cope with or relieve it, it can take a toll on your mental and physical well-being.
With that said, we know that stress levels can increase during the holiday season. Add to that your obligations as a student and you could definitely begin to feel like you’re living the quote above. So here are some resources to help you manage your responses to the stress in your life:
- Tips for Handling Stress (from our Minnesota Online Counselor)
- GPS LifePlan Stress Management
- Stress Relief via Pinterest (from our friends at Distance Minnesota)
And if you want to join me and other online learners to talk about what works to relieve stress, I will be hosting a Twitter Chat on Monday, December 10 at 8:00pm. Follow the conversation at #MOLstressless.
